According to the statement, “Today, September 19, 2022, at 0020 hours, a missile attack was launched by the Russian military on South Ukraine’s nuclear power plant industrial estate.”

Energoatom states that the power units at the plant are currently operating as normal and that there were no injuries among staff. Energoatom warns that Russian troops have committed acts of nuclear terror that “threaten the whole world” and urges them to stop “to avoid another disaster.”
Volodimir Zelenski, the Ukrainian president, also commented on the attack on the South Ukraine industrial zone nuclear power plant.
“The occupants wanted fire again, but forgot what a nuclear power station is. Russia is threatening the entire world. “We have to stop it before its too late,” he said in a Telegram message, which was collected by Ukrinform agency.
